Located in Sioux Falls, SD, at the East Patient Building, the Cook position is a full-time role with an 8-hour day shift schedule. Cook team members are essential in ensuring that patients and residents receive nutritious and safely prepared meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs. This role offers a predictable work schedule, flexible hours, competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $23.00 per hour, and benefits that surpass those typically found in restaurant-related jobs.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
- Serv Safe certification may be required within a designated time frame
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on location
- Ability to drive may be required depending on location

Job Duties
- Prepares and provides the highest quality and safest food possible
- Follows standardized recipes and guidelines for cooks to prepare, store and use food
- Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery
- Performs washing and cleaning duties to insure sanitation
- Operates equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, food grinders, and more
