Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- Have a current Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrate leadership, training, and supervision skills
- Possess proficient written and oral communication abilities
- Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Have the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Be comfortable working near extreme temperatures including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers
- Be available to work indoors and outdoors for events
- Pass criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Possession of a current Food Handlers Card as specified by Department of Health
- Demonstrated skills and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working near extreme temperatures
Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
- Provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion
- Ensure health protocols are followed including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures
- Familiarize with the residents and their preferences and needs
- Participate in resident orientations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining area
- Collaborate with team members to support overall dining experience
