The Cook III role at Craft Culinary Concepts is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level culinarian to build a career in a dynamic, high-volume kitchen environment. This position is based at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, a unique cultural attraction that showcases the biodiversity and natural beauty of the desert region. The Cook III will function as a fundamental part of the culinary team, performing critical prep, grill, and line cook tasks that support seamless kitchen operations and uphold the company’s high standards of food quality and safety.

Beyond food preparation, this position requires keen attention to cleanliness and organization, with responsibilities including restocking food items, assisting with inventory control following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles, supporting receiving and stocking deliveries, and executing opening and closing procedures in the kitchen. The Cook III helps sustain a safe, efficient, and hygienic workspace in line with all applicable health regulations.

Craft Culinary Concepts values strong communication skills, requiring that the Cook III effectively interact with supervisors and team members and follow both written and oral instructions. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the venues served. The company supports growth and development, encouraging culinarians to expand their expertise and advance within the culinary field.

This role does require the ability to stand and be mobile throughout shifts, lift food items and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds or more, and work in varying temperature conditions from warm kitchen areas to cooler storage environments. A valid County Food Handler’s Card and driver’s license are prerequisites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.

Craft Culinary Concepts is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity and treats all applicants fairly without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
