Our establishment is a dedicated and dynamic culinary service provider specializing in preparing and serving nutritious meals in a professional kitchen setting. The role of Kitchen Cook is integral to our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals and snacks to large groups, adhering to established recipes and health guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen safety protocols, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties include cleaning kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances, as well as maintaining the kitchen and dining areas in a neat and orderly manner. The Kitchen Cook is tasked with ensuring that the right amount of food is prepared on time, serving meals and beverages in a presentable way, and supporting overall kitchen operations to uphold our service standards.

The physical demands of this job include working in a typical kitchen environment where employees may experience limited discomfort caused by heat from stoves, ovens, or cold storage units. Attention to safety and cleanliness is crucial to maintain an effective workspace and avoid accidents. We seek candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, complemented by three years of experience in cooking for large groups, alongside some experience coordinating other kitchen staff or an equivalent combination of training and experience that equips them with necessary skills and abilities. Food Manager Certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hiring. While a valid state driver’s license is optional, it can be beneficial.
