The Cook 4 Breakfast role at Hyatt Regency Denver is a vital position within the culinary team responsible for providing high-quality breakfast offerings to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of kitchen operations and a passion for creating consistent, delicious breakfast items that meet and exceed guest expectations. The Cook 4 Breakfast will be integral to preparing a variety of breakfast staples including omelets, scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, and hashbrowns, as well as supporting prep cooking tasks. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of professional cooking experience with a background in both high volume restaurant and banquet production experience. A formal culinary education is preferred but not mandatory for candidates who demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge.

Successful candidates for this position must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining strict standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation. As part of this role, the cook will monitor food production levels, ensure staffing adequacy, assist in department training initiatives, and apply culinary techniques to optimize cost control and kitchen organization. The ability to operate computer systems for various kitchen and order management applications is also valued. Physical stamina is important for this role, including standing for long periods and the capacity to lift, push, or carry moderate weights. Open availability is required, including mornings, weekends, and holidays to ensure smooth service at all times.
