Job Requirements

  • at least 5 years of professional cooking experience
  • experience in high volume restaurant and banquet settings
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
  • open availability including weekends and holidays
  • formal culinary training preferred
  • ability to work all kitchen stations

Job Qualifications

  • good communication skills

  • culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • ability to work most kitchen stations
  • advanced knowledge of culinary preparation methods
  • experience in fine dining environments preferred

Job Duties

  • produce consistent food products meeting guest expectations
  • monitor daily food production, quality, and consistency
  • oversee staffing levels in the kitchen
  • conduct department training for culinary staff
  • apply various food preparation methods
  • maintain cost control in food production
  • manage guest interactions when necessary
