Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Review menus and customer orders to determine food preparation types and quantities
  • comply with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
  • ensure proper food temperatures are maintained
  • store food correctly
  • maintain freshness and quality of menu items
  • package products to proper specifications
  • keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • maintain kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary conditions
  • use waste control guidelines and record waste on spoilage sheets
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties
  • conduct end-of-day inventory as per guidelines
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • train and mentor kitchen team members
  • monitor labor and overhead costs and report as required
