Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years line cooking experience
- Culinary degree or equivalent hotel culinary experience preferred
- Able to perform preparation of soups, sauces, and stocks
- Proficient in frying and broiling techniques
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide guidance
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- At least three years of previous line cooking experience preferred
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Ability to work multiple kitchen stations
- Proficient in basic and intermediate cooking techniques
- Able to work with moderate supervision
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
Job Duties
- Perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling
- Work multiple stations in the kitchen effectively
- Provide direction in the supervisor's absence
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with training and supervision as needed
