The role of Cook 3 at Bacco Restaurant & Bar within Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville represents a vital position within the culinary team. Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and food items per guest orders, following recipes, production, portion, and presentation standards
  • Complete mise en place and set up stations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring quantities align with estimated needs and minimizing waste
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, steamers, fryers, mixers, slicers, and prep tools
  • Date all food containers and rotate stock according to policies, ensuring perishables are stored at proper temperatures
  • Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, and organize ingredients for line cooks and chefs
  • Assist in prep work of vegetables, condiments, sauces, and other ingredients as required for upcoming shifts
  • Control food waste, loss, and usage according to kitchen policies
  • Comply fully with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact
  • Work professionally and collaboratively with co-workers and supervisors to maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
