The Cook 3 position at Invited is a senior culinary role that carries significant responsibility within the kitchen operations. This role is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who are passionate about food preparation, leadership, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. The Cook 3 is accountable for leading the preparation, production, and presentation of food items, ensuring all meals meet the club's exacting standards. The role requires managing and organizing the workstation efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and mentoring junior cooks to drive a productive and collaborative kitchen environment.

This position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef and plays a critical part in sustaining the club's culinary excellence. The Cook 3 not only executes complex cooking tasks but also contributes to menu planning, recipe development, and product testing. They may also assume charge of a shift in the absence of the Sous Chef, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills in a high-pressure environment. The role demands advanced culinary expertise, the capacity to manage high-volume operations, and excellent communication to interact effectively with club members, guests, and kitchen staff.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 4 years culinary or kitchen experience
  • valid food handler certifications as required
  • ability to stand and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • capacity to work in various temperature environments
  • ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to climb, kneel, bend, and perform physical tasks
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
