Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a cook role preferred
  • Food handler's certification required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred
  • Strong culinary skills including knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Food handler's certification required

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is of the highest quality and meets strict standards
  • Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines including proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Assist with inventory management including receiving and storing food supplies
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
  • Assist with special events and catering as needed
