We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. The position involves preparing food for the on-site restaurant, banquet events, and special functions with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. The cook will be responsible for proper food preparation, presentation, and ensuring guest dietary needs and special requests are accommodated. This role requires careful rotation of food supplies to minimize waste and spoilage while maintaining the utmost cleanliness and safety standards in all food preparation areas. The Cook will also assist with ordering supplies as needed and setting up both hot and cold line stations in accordance with established specifications.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as the Cook must relay all guest requests to appropriate personnel promptly and professionally. This position demands adherence to safety regulations and company policies, including the safe handling of all food preparation equipment. The successful candidate will maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and practice safe work habits to avoid injury to themselves and others. Cross-training may be required to support various operational needs within the department.

This physically demanding role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods. The position has minimal travel requirements, primarily restricted to the property and immediate surrounding areas. Compensation ranges from $15.41 to $28.87 per hour, varying by state, market, and experience level. Job Duties

  • Prepare food for the restaurant on property, banquets and special functions at a high quality
  • Properly and efficiently prepare and present all food items to be served, including accommodating special guest requests
  • Rotate food in walk-ins and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage
  • Maintain internal cleanliness of all food prep areas
  • Assist, as directed, ordering necessary food supplies
  • Follow all specifications and properly set up hot and cold line stations
  • Communicate all guest requests to an appropriate person or supervisor in a timely and professional manner
