This job opportunity is for a Cook position within Brookdale’s residential communities. The role involves ensuring the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus. Cooks are expected to apply their cooking knowledge and skills, including proficiency with cutting tools, cookware, bakeware, and various cooking methods such as grilling, baking, and boiling. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to all sanitation and food safety standards are critical aspects of the role. The cook will prepare food promptly for specified meal times, contributing directly to the comfort and satisfaction of the residents they serve.
