Job Description

The Vered's Culinary Services Department is seeking a dedicated Cook to provide full-scope, hands-on production cooking. This role focuses on maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience
  • current state-required sanitation (Safe Food Handling and/or Certified Food Manager) certification/license
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend English language
  • knowledge of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies relevant to culinary services
  • good communication skills (oral and written)
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
