Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of culinary or hotel kitchen experience preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining high food safety standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Availability for full-time seasonal employment from April through September

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Two years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Capability to work independently at single kitchen stations
  • Strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Hyatt standards
  • Operate single kitchen stations while assisting the pool deck
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Assist in inventory and stocking of kitchen supplies
  • Adapt to flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
