With a rich heritage spanning over 100 years, Delaware North has established itself as a global leader in hospitality, known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and creating memorable guest experiences. The company operates in various sectors including sports, entertainment, gaming, national parks, and more, offering diverse career opportunities for individuals passionate about hospitality. At Delaware North, employees are not just team members; they are valued participants in a global legacy and a family-owned enterprise dedicated to growth and success. This work culture emphasizes professional development, personal well-being, and inclusivity, ensuring a supportive environment where people can thrive.

Nu Stadium, located in Miami, Florida, represents the future of dynamic entertainment and sports venues. Set to open in 2026, this state-of-the-art soccer stadium will be the home ground for Inter Miami CF and will also host world-class concerts and live entertainment throughout the year. Delaware North has been selected to lead the stadium concessions and premium food and beverage services. Their role involves delivering innovative culinary experiences that celebrate Miami's vibrant cultural heritage while elevating classic stadium favorites.

The role of Cook at Nu Stadium offers an exciting opportunity to be part of this landmark venue. As a seasonal Cook, you will play a fundamental role in food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained. This position requires close collaboration with serving team members to deliver a seamless culinary experience to guests. Working at Delaware North means innovation and teamwork are key pillars, contributing to a culture that values culinary excellence. The role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $19.50 to $30.00, reflecting the importance of skilled food preparation in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.

The Cook's responsibilities include adhering to precise portion sizes, quality controls, and departmental policies throughout food preparation and service. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within their workstations, coolers, and equipment is vital to operational efficiency and health standards. The role also demands vigilance in waste control and accurate tracking to minimize spoilage. Additionally, the Cook will participate in opening, closing, side work duties, and inventory management to uphold the smooth functioning of culinary operations.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in back-of-house food service roles, possess the ability to read and follow recipes accurately, and demonstrate basic mathematical skills needed for recipe measurements. While a high school diploma or GED is not required, the role demands physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shifts in moderate to high noise environments, and perform manual tasks such as chopping, mixing, and operating kitchen equipment.

Delaware North values its employees by providing comprehensive benefits designed to ensure their safety, comfort, and professional growth. These benefits include weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, flexible work schedules, and eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance. Additional offerings include a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, an employee assistance program, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. By joining Delaware North at Nu Stadium, you become part of a team dedicated to excellence, innovation, and delivering unforgettable experiences to the community and guests alike.
