The property boasts 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, elegant suites, and casita-style villas that provide guests with an unparalleled level of comfort and sophistication. The resort is also home to two exclusive celebrity chef food and beverage venues, led by renowned chef Angelo Sosa, which elevate the culinary offerings to match the luxury ambiance of the resort. Positioned within the picturesque backdrop of Indian Wells, the Grand Hyatt is a sought-after destination for travelers seeking both relaxation and indulgence, setting new standards in the hospitality industry for service and amenities.

As a Cook 2 at The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas, you will be an integral part of a talented culinary team responsible for delivering top-tier food preparation services at the resort's restaurants and main kitchens. This intermediate-level culinary role involves preparing meals with precision and care by consistently following recipes, effectively handling and processing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace adhering to stringent health and safety standards. The role also involves garnishing and arranging dishes to create visually appealing presentations that enhance the dining experience. Accountability is key, as cooks must ensure all ingredients and final food products are fresh and that food safety and sanitation guidelines are rigorously followed throughout their shifts. The Cook 2 position requires strong collaboration with wait staff and other kitchen personnel, sometimes even serving food, and taking part in opening and closing kitchen procedures. The pay rate ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, with the final salary determined based on factors including experience and education. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your culinary career within a top-tier resort known for extraordinary hospitality and fine dining experiences, all while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that challenges and develops your skills.
