Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent hotel cooking experience
  • minimum 2 years line cook experience
  • strong knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
  • ability to work independently at a single station
  • good communication skills
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • 2 years of previous line experience preferred
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
  • able to work single station in the kitchen
  • a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Duties

  • Supporting Ripple & Roots culinary operations
  • working single stations in the kitchen
  • preparing ingredients and cooking dishes to professional standards
  • maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • communicating effectively with team members and management
  • following food safety and hygiene protocols
  • assisting in inventory management and food storage
