  • Able to read, write and speak basic English
  • Able to understand and apply basic mathematical skills
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
  • Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50-70 pounds repetitively during entire shift
  • Good attitude and work ethic practices
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Can work in high stress and fast paced environment
  • Functions safely and efficiently under extreme kitchen heat conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Understand and apply basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
  • Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50-70 pounds
  • Good attitude and work ethic to ensure maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a high stress and fast-paced environment
  • Functions safely and efficiently under extreme kitchen heat conditions
  • Prefer at least 2 years experience in a high volume kitchen
  • Possess full knowledge of proper cooking techniques and food safety
  • Consistent adherence to recipes and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with production requirements and standard recipes
  • Work grill, broil, sauté and raw bar stations
  • Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe station at all times
  • Set up assigned station to prepare for shift
  • Produce products consistent with quality standards and recipes
  • Communicate any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
  • Inspect and maintain line equipment cleanliness and report any repairs
  • Return unused food to designated storage and cover/date perishables
  • Complete station closing checklist for next shift transition
  • Follow food and cleanliness standards to ensure quality
  • Report unsafe work conditions or security violations
  • Support team efforts and cooperate with other associates
  • Other duties as assigned
