Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • One to two years experience in a similar position
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • ServSafe certification or ability to become certified required
  • Level 4 Gaming License required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Physical ability to stand and walk frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb. occasionally
  • Ability to work in warm, cold, and sometimes smoky environments
  • Able to meet physical demands including use of hands, reaching, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending

Job Duties

  • Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
  • Maintains all refrigeration and dry storage areas to ensure proper handling and rotation of products
  • Ensures that stations are clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift
  • Follows all recipes, specs, and control procedures
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with health regulations
  • Assists with guest requests
  • Runs a station or multiple stations
