Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • proficiency in basic cooking methods
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • commitment to food safety and cleanliness practices

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • 2 years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • ability to perform basic cooking skills
  • capable of working single station in the kitchen
  • strong dedication to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • flexible availability including early mornings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes according to Hyatt recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations
  • ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
  • assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • collaborate with kitchen team to meet service times and guest expectations
  • adapt to work in various kitchen stations as needed
  • follow all health and safety regulations
