Job Requirements
- One or more years of experience as a line cook or similar role preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet timing requirements
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in team environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients for various dishes, following recipes and guidelines
- Cook and grill menu items including meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces with precision
- Set up and organize the cooking station with necessary tools and ingredients before service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure meal components are ready simultaneously
- Inspect ingredients and finished dishes for quality, taste, and appearance
- Follow food safety and sanitation practices to prevent contamination and health hazards
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking station and properly maintain equipment
- Monitor ingredient levels and notify the kitchen manager of stock requirements
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a positive work environment
- Adapt to different tasks and responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced kitchen environment
