Reporting to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, the Cook plays a vital role in preparing delicious meals that not only meet but exceed guest expectations. The role requires working closely with the culinary team to sustain high standards in food preparation, consistency, and kitchen efficiency.

In this position, the Cook will be involved in preparing a wide variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all in strict accordance with recipes and company standards. Attention to detail and precision in cooking techniques are key to ensuring consistent quality and taste. The role demands a commitment to food safety and sanitation to adhere to all relevant regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. This includes responsible food handling, proper storage, and ongoing cleanliness of kitchen tools and workstations.

Beyond food preparation, the Cook will play a supportive role in operating an organized and efficient kitchen by managing inventory, assisting with the receipt and storage of food supplies, and helping coordinate special events and catering services when needed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred
  • Food handler's certification required
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Team player mindset

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines including proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Assist with inventory management including receiving and storing food supplies
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
  • Assist with special events and catering as needed
