Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum one year of related culinary or food service experience
  • Ability to handle physical demands including standing, bending, and lifting
  • Must comply with safety and hygiene standards
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and food handling procedures
  • Willingness to participate in online culinary training

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food following recipes and quality standards
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Test foods for proper cooking
  • Monitor food quality during preparation
  • Set-up and break down work stations
  • Serve food in proper portions
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
  • Check temperature correctness of appliances and food
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Stand or walk for extended periods
  • Lift or move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other duties as assigned
