This full-time Non-Management Food and Beverage position at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa comes with a pay rate of $20.85 per hour. The role is designed for culinary associates interested in gaining and honing their skills through Marriott’s partnership with Rouxbe Cooking School, which provides engaging, self-paced online culinary training. The position involves preparing ingredients according to strict quality guidelines, cooking and presenting food as per recipe standards, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. Associates will also be responsible for operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers, ensuring food is cooked to the right temperature, and supporting the team to uphold operational excellence. This role requires standing for extended periods, physical stamina, and attention to detail to maintain food quality and presentation. The role is non-supervisory and ideal for individuals who have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related work experience in the food and beverage or culinary sector.
