This role involves cooking, preparing, and packaging various food products while meticulously adhering to predetermined quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various food preparation stations, including the dresser, grills, and food prep areas, ensuring that all food items are prepared accurately and timely. In this nonexempt position, the Cook will report directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and will play a crucial role in maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and sanitation by performing routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dishwashing, and equipment sanitation. Additionally, the Cook must be prepared to move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds, contributing to efficient kitchen operations. This position requires flexibility in working hours, as it demands availability during irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to multitask, follow directions precisely, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential.
