With a focus on innovation, compassion, and community engagement, Parkview prides itself on fostering a supportive environment for both patients and employees alike, making it a respected leader in the healthcare industry.
The Nutrition Service department at Parkview is currently seeking talented individuals who are passionate about nutritional wellness and service excellence. This full-time, benefit-eligible role is located at the Mirro Conference Center Ops and offers opportunities to work both day and night shifts. Upon hire, employees are automatically enrolled in the Nutrition Services Career Path, which offers unique learning and skill development opportunities. The role specifically focuses on the responsibilities of a Nutrition Services Cook, who, under the guidance of the Nutrition Services manager and supervisor, plays a critical part in ensuring that nutritious and appealing food items are prepared and served across various areas including retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks. The Nutrition Services Cook must follow approved recipe guidelines to maintain consistency and quality of food items. The position requires adherence to stringent Health and Safety standards, including compliance with all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines to guarantee food safety and hygiene.
This role is integral to maintaining the high standard of nutritional support provided throughout Parkview's facilities and may require flexibility in work location, as the cook may be called upon to work at any and all Parkview entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the excellent appearance and quality of all foods served, fostering a positive dining experience for patients and staff alike. They must possess strong communication skills and the capability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
