Job Description

Cascade Living Group is a reputable organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its residents and employees through a culture of wellness and purposeful living. The company operates Meadow Creek Village, an assisted living community serving residents and their families from across the region. This community-based establishment is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care to seniors, helping them thrive in a supportive environment. Known for its mission to bridge the difference between simply living and living well, Cascade Living Group emphasizes creating meaningful experiences and fostering life-long relationships between staff and residents.

Meadow Creek Village is currently seeking a skilled Cook to join its dedicated team. This role is uniquely positioned within the assisted living sector, differing significantly from conventional hospitality cooking roles such as those in restaurants, hotels, or resorts. As a Cook at Meadow Creek Village, you will contribute directly to the well-being of residents by preparing nutritious, special-diet meals designed to meet individual health requirements. Your daily work will involve collaborating closely with a team in a dynamic environment where communication and reliability are essential.

The position is part-time with competitive pay ranging from $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, depending on experience. Hours of operation are between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with weekend availability required. This role offers an enriching experience that transcends typical cooking duties, as it emphasizes a heartfelt connection to the community and residents. You'll have the opportunity to master various types of kitchen equipment while upholding the highest standards of food preparation, safety, and dietary compliance. Your work will help ensure that residents enjoy flavorful, nutritious meals including those on mechanical, pureed, finger food, and renal diets.

Being a Cook at Meadow Creek Village means being part of a compassionate and professional team committed to promoting the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living Group. The role requires a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to the needs of the community. Your efforts will make a significant impact on residents’ quality of life by ensuring consistent, high-quality meal service, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and upholding all food safety standards.

Cascade Living Group supports its employees with an attractive benefits package, including health insurance eligibility, voluntary disability, accident, and life insurance options, flexible pet insurance for cats and dogs, a company-matched 401k plan, payroll advances on earned wages, a discount program, paid time off, education assistance, and longevity bonuses. The company prides itself on fostering career pathways and offering competitive wages within a supportive and mission-driven workplace.

If you are a compassionate individual with a background in institutional cooking and a passion for serving others, consider joining Meadow Creek Village where your skills will nourish both body and soul, and your work will truly matter.
