  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • 1 plus years of foodservice experience in a high-volume culinary production capacity preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking methods
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Knowledge about working in the food industry
  • Ability to cook precisely and efficiently
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Creativity in food preparation and service
  • Flexibility in scheduling of hours
  • May be required to work overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records
  • Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Record temperatures according to regulatory requirements
  • Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
