We are currently inviting applications for the position of Cook, who will play a vital role within our food service team. Working under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, the Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, portioning, and serving a variety of meals to patients, associates, visitors, and catered events. This position requires adherence to strict sanitation standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment throughout the food preparation areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in culinary preparation and knowledge of standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality and taste. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience working as a Cook Pantry Cook or Baker
  • Ability to read and comprehend standardized recipes
  • Commitment to maintaining sanitation and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to work flexible scheduled PRN and day shifts
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork orientation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare cook and portion food items according to standardized recipes and menus
  • Serve food to patients associates visitors and catered events
  • Maintain highest standards of sanitation and safe work environment
  • Work under direction of Food Service Supervisor
  • Monitor food quality and report any discrepancies
  • Assist in inventory management and food storage
  • Comply with all food safety regulations and guidelines
