Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least one year of relevant cooking experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior cooking or kitchen experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility is preferred
- Experience with safety procedures in cafeteria or food service environment

Job Duties
- Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, recipes, policies, and procedures
- Handle, store, label and rotate all products properly in accordance with applicable state laws
- Properly stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- Understand menu items and prep ingredients accordingly
- Apply various cooking methods and manage hot and cold work conditions
- Multitask effectively in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Perform other related duties as assigned
