Provincial Senior Living is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Cook to join their dedicated team. The Cook will play an essential role in delivering high-quality food services to residents, ensuring meals are prepared safely, accurately, and attractively to enhance the senior living experience. The role requires preparing a variety of hot and cold menu items with attention to quality and taste, working across different kitchen stations including grill, sauté, salad bar, and service line. The Cook must ensure adherence to menu cycles and standardized recipes for consistent portioning and presentation, while strictly following food handling safety protocols to maintain health standards.
Ideal candidates possess previous experience in senior living environments and demonstrate strong knowledge of production methods and portion control. Organizational skills, communication ability, and an eye for detail in both food quality and presentation are crucial. The position also requires availability to work weekends, a necessity in the senior living setting where residents' nutritional needs are prioritized daily.

Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line
- Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes
- Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
