Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Requires familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized workstations to meet sanitation and food safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
