The Doubletree by Hilton Greensboro, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, is part of the globally recognized Hilton brand and is managed by Commonwealth Hotels. Known for its commitment to excellence and superior guest service, the Doubletree blends comfort and quality to create a memorable stay for travelers from around the world. The hotel boasts modern amenities, including well-appointed guest rooms, meeting and event spaces, and various dining options, catering to both business and leisure guests. Working at the Doubletree by Hilton Greensboro presents an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals seeking growth within a reputable and supportive environment.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Hotel Restaurant Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences aligned with the Hilton brand standards. As a Hotel Restaurant Cook, you will prepare and cook menu items following Doubletree by Hilton recipes and presentation guidelines across all meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events. The position requires a keen eye for quality control, ensuring all food items meet the hotel's high standards for freshness, taste, temperature, and appearance.

In addition to food preparation, you will manage your workstation by setting up, stocking, and maintaining it to efficiently meet kitchen service demands. Adhering to stringent health and safety regulations is paramount, and you will ensure all practices align with Hilton, Doubletree, and local health department standards. Collaboration with kitchen staff, servers, and management is essential for smooth service operations, especially during high-volume events such as conferences and weddings. You will also assist with inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and storing supplies properly.

The role also presents opportunities to occasionally interact with guests, particularly during open kitchen or chef’s station events, allowing for a personal touch to guest satisfaction. Proper use and care of kitchen equipment are required, including timely reporting of maintenance issues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This position demands flexibility, as the fast-paced nature of hospitality often entails adapting to changing tasks and guest needs.

The Doubletree by Hilton Greensboro provides its associates with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) with company match, SAME DAY PAY, flexible spending accounts, vacation and personal days, holiday pay, and exclusive discounts on hotel stays and food services for personal travel. Additionally, employees benefit from professional growth opportunities through online training courses and Commonwealth University. The supportive environment includes additional assistance programs like the Employee Assistance Program, jury duty leave, and bereavement leave. Working here means joining a team-oriented company that values respect, integrity, and career development, setting the stage for a rewarding hospitality career in Greensboro.
