The role available is a Full Time, Non-Management Food and Beverage Culinary position with an hourly pay rate of $28.26. This role entails a wide range of culinary preparation tasks essential to the smooth and efficient functioning of the kitchen. The primary responsibilities include preparing ingredients such as portioning, chopping, peeling, and measuring while adhering strictly to food safety and quality standards. The candidate will work with fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring food is prepped and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
The role requires proficiency in operating kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Ensuring food is cooked to the correct standards involves testing for proper doneness and continuously monitoring quality throughout preparation. The candidate will also be responsible for setting up and breaking down the work station each day, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards by washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
In addition to culinary tasks, the position demands adherence to company and safety policies, requiring proactive communication about maintenance needs or unsafe conditions. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G E D equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Flexible availability preferred
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to comply with safety and security policies
- Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh measure and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards and food preparation checklist
- Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
- Test foods for correct doneness and monitor food quality
- Set up and break down work station
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
- Check temperature of appliances and food
- Follow company and safety policies and procedures
- Report maintenance issues accidents injuries and unsafe conditions
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team to reach common goals
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
