This employment opportunity is for a full-time Food Service Worker position at the Herberger Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. Job Duties

  • Prepare food that qualifies for next day such as desserts and sack lunches
  • assist with food and meal preparation as directed by the Lead Cook
  • obtain supplies from storerooms, coolers, or freezer for next day cooking
  • clean and sanitize work area, skillet, and ovens
  • organize and supervise receipt of deliveries and maintenance of food service areas
  • secure food and equipment from theft
  • maintain cleanliness of food service areas to comply with health and sanitation standards
  • work with volunteers assigned to the Food Service Department
  • receive and store food and non-food items with assistance
  • complete and document all assigned daily cleaning tasks
  • maintain proper documentation
  • perform other duties related to efficient kitchen management
