This full-time, non-management position offers competitive pay at $31.90 per hour and includes additional benefits such as $10 per day parking and a free meal per shift. The position focuses on food preparation duties essential to the kitchen and overall guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, and storing food items properly. The role requires knowledge of food safety and hygiene as well as skillful operation of kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Staff in this position are expected to prepare and cook food according to established recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality standards, managing cold food preparation as well.

A key part of the job is ensuring food quality through testing and monitoring during cooking, as well as maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, utensils, tools, and equipment. Employees must comply with company safety and security policies, reporting any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions promptly. The role demands professional communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and adherence to uniform and appearance standards.

Physically, the job involves long periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as tasks requiring bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds. Candidates should hold a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and bring at least one year of related work experience.
