This job opening is for a High Volume Cook position located in Westborough, Massachusetts, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with shifts available Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. The role provides an attractive starting pay rate of $18 to $20 per hour, with weekly pay distributed via direct deposit. The High Volume Cook will report directly to the Chef or Chef Manager and is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and catered events within a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position involves the operation of various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers, and chef's knives. In addition to food preparation duties, the cook must maintain exemplary customer service standards, effectively representing both the client and NEXDINE Hospitality.

The role demands a strong focus on food safety, quality control, and sanitation. The cook must regularly inspect and clean food preparation and serving areas, ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures, and verify freshness through quality checks and stock rotation. The position also requires skill in seasoning, measuring, and mixing ingredients as directed by supervisors, and in some cases, assisting with inventory management and food usage record keeping.

This role is suitable for individuals who thrive in high-energy environments and enjoy a hands-on approach to culinary service. Applicants can expect to work in a kitchen setting where exposure to heat, steam, fire, and noise is common, and physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 40 pounds. Importantly, the position guarantees no late nights, ensuring employees finish their shifts by 7 pm. This balance of competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and opportunities for career growth make this an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals looking to advance their careers in a supportive and respected hospitality company.
