Currently, HMC is seeking a dedicated Cook to join the team at the Travelodge and Penny's Diner located in Missouri Valley, IA. The role involves preparing banquet items as outlined in function sheets, managing food orders from the restaurant, and maintaining proper stocking of menu items. This position also includes supervising dishwasher operations to ensure adequate availability of utensils, maintaining kitchen cleanliness at all times, managing breakfast production, and carrying out other duties assigned by the Executive Chef and General Manager. The Cook position is essential for ensuring that high-quality food service is consistently delivered, contributing to the overall guest experience. Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have food handler's permit
- Training in food preparation desirable
- Must be able to work PM shift
- Basic food preparation
- One year food preparation experience highly desirable
- Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality

- Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager
