The role of Line Cook at SSP America is a full-time, hourly position paying $26.50 per hour, with immediate hiring expected. As a Line Cook, you will have an integral role in the kitchen operations. The position requires diligent setup of kitchen stations so that all cooking team members have the ingredients, tools, and equipment readily accessible throughout their shifts. Daily tasks include requisitioning and stocking food supplies and paper products, rotating and storing perishables correctly to prevent waste or spoilage, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by cleaning and breaking down equipment and kitchen areas as directed. Attention to detail is essential as you will complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists to uphold high operational standards and food safety guidelines.

Job Duties
- Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare,garnish,and present ordered items
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
- Requisition and stock all required food,paper products,and condiments
- Handle,store,and rotate all products properly
- Responsible for set-up,regular maintenance,cleaning,and breakdown of machinery and equipment
- Maintain stock,cut,and store all perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Complete opening,on-going,and closing checklists as required
- Take responsibility for quality of products served
- Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
