In addition to these, the candidate must possess culinary teaching capabilities and the aptitude to provide direction in the absence of the hourly sous chef. Job Requirements
- Culinary education or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to maintain consistent food quality
- Experience in cost control and kitchen management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience in guest-facing roles
- Ability to train and lead kitchen staff
- Availability to provide direction during sous chef absences
Job Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- At least 4 years of previous line and fine dining experience preferred
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Able to work most stations of the kitchen
