The role of Cook at Anthony's is an essential position responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the high standards set by the company. This position requires an individual with proven experience working in professional kitchens who can effectively collaborate with the kitchen team and the Head Chef. - experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- familiarity with inventory management and food cost control
- ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during peak service hours
- additional language skills to support diverse kitchen teams and customer base
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and workstations
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate meal preparation and delivery
- stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving kitchen supplies
- monitor food stock levels and report shortages or spoilage to management
