The Cook collaborates closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff to prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the residents while upholding high standards of food safety and sanitation. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- reliable and dependable attendance
- ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- previous cooking experience preferred but not required
- food service or healthcare dining experience is a plus

Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
- ensure food is prepared, presented, and served in a timely manner
- follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- assist with inventory, stocking, and food storage
- accommodate special diets and modified textures as directed
- monitor food temperatures and complete required documentation
- work cooperatively with residents, families, and team members
- assist with special events, holiday meals, and resident celebrations
