Job Requirements
- At least 1-year experience in a cook role
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Capability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-year experience as a cook in a family style restaurant industry
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
- ServeSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Collaborate with management to prepare meals during dining hours
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of shift
