The Food and Beverage Team Member role at Typhoon Texas is a vital position focused on delivering exceptional guest service within the Food and Beverage Department. The position involves working at various food locations such as River Grill, Smokehouse, Ray's Pizza, Ben's Soft Pretzels, Taco Shack, Corney Dog Corner, Texas Treats, and Catering. This role requires proficiency in operating grills, fryers, ovens, and preparing food items efficiently and safely. Team members will undergo training and be assigned primarily to one food location but should also be flexible to cross-train and assist in other restaurant stations as needed.
As a Food and Beverage Team Member, individuals are expected to be fast, efficient, and maintain high standards of safety and sanitation while providing a Texas-friendly and hospitable experience for guests. Job Duties
- Able to properly use assigned food preparation equipment
- Follow all food handling protocols including avoiding time and temperature abuse
- Able to properly cook and temperature check food items
- Able to work efficiently to adequately serve guests
- Able to assemble menu items and serve to guests
- Provide excellent guest service
- Must follow all health department requirements and maintain a clean working environment
