Job Description

Currently, SodexoMagic is seeking a full-time Cook to join its team at Jackson State University. This role is essential in maintaining the company’s standards of culinary excellence and customer satisfaction. The pay range for this position is between $7.25 and $23.44 per hour, attracting candidates who are passionate about food preparation and culinary service. Working shifts vary and may include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events, with open availability preferred to meet operational needs.

As a Cook at SodexoMagic, you will be more than just a food preparer; you will be a vital team player who helps reduce food waste while consistently delivering delicious, nutritious meals. Your role requires you to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a wide variety of hot and cold food items. You will be expected to read and follow recipes, operate cooking stations such as grills, and provide excellent customer service. Reliability and punctuality are crucial as attendance and adherence to shift schedules directly impact the overall team performance. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
