Job Duties
- Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products, including carving and display cooking products, according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
- grills all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality
- ensures that every fried product is always fresh and hot
- restocks items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable
- assists guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable
- completes use and follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
- maintains correct temperature of all products during cooking, holding and serving
- uses production guides to maintain inventory of hot cook products
- conducts opening and closing administrative procedures
- properly maintains equipment
- restocks and rotates food products using first-in, first-out method
- takes inventory and checks build-to with Manager at beginning and end of each shift
- ensures cooking area and smallwares are clean
- performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards
- follows local health department laws
- keeps Char Grill clean and scraped
- ensures Hot Choice Buffet products are always hot and fresh
- follows position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery
- is friendly and courteous to guests
- maintains professional communication
