Golden Corral is currently seeking energetic and friendly Cooks to join the team. The Cook plays a critical role in maintaining the quality, quantity, freshness, and tastiness of all Hot Choice Buffet products. This position is essential to ensuring the overall guest experience meets Golden Corral’s standards by preparing food items according to established recipes and procedures. The Cook must handle various food production responsibilities, including grilling, frying, and carving, while adhering to cleanliness, speed, and organizational standards. In addition to food preparation, the Cook may assist with restocking stations, support other team members when necessary, and maintain operational excellence by ensuring correct temperatures and proper food rotation using FIFO methods.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
- Grills all items to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality
- Ensures that every fried product is fresh and hot
- Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable
- Assists guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable
- Uses the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
- Maintains correct product temperatures during cooking, holding, and serving
