Your job will involve setting up workstations, processing ingredients through measuring, chopping, mixing, and peeling, and cooking using diverse methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming. You will also be responsible for garnishing, portioning, and properly storing food adhering to the highest safety standards. Sanitation and cleanliness of your work area are essential, as is maintaining excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, clients, colleagues, and management.

Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and extended standing
- Ability to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
