The role of Cook is crucial in maintaining the standards and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Reporting directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD), this nonexempt position requires an individual who is passionate about food preparation, quality, and safety. The Cook is responsible for cooking, preparing, and packaging food products in adherence to established operational and quality standards. This includes operating various stations such as dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep areas to deliver consistent and timely meals.
In addition to food preparation, the Cook plays a vital role in the sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen environment. Duties include trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing areas, cleaning equipment, and managing used grease disposal. The position demands regular attendance, the ability to lift and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds, and the flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements

- maintain regular attendance
- report customer or employee complaints or issues to MOD
- move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
