This position requires availability on Sundays, reflecting our commitment to serving our community throughout the week. Whether you are new to the food service industry or have previous experience, Stone House Tavern welcomes your eagerness and dedication. We provide comprehensive, paid hands-on training to ensure you gain the skills needed to succeed in various kitchen roles. As a Kitchen Team Member, you may start in positions such as Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Dishwasher, depending on your strengths and the needs of the kitchen. These roles involve preparing and plating menu items, chopping and portioning ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment. Every position within our kitchen is essential, and teamwork is integral to our success.

Job Requirements
- Availability to work full-time including Sundays
- Ability to work on feet in a warm fast-paced kitchen
- Willingness to work weekends with Sunday availability required
- Dependability and punctuality
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene
- Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Job Duties
- Prepare and plate menu items to order maintaining quality and speed during service
- Chop portion and prepare ingredients to keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Keep the kitchen clean organized and fully stocked with clean equipment throughout the shift
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
